As with any fine jewelry, please put your High Strung! pieces on after you apply perfume, hairspray and lotions. The chemicals in these products cause build up on the beads, stripping them of their luster and sparkle. Avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower, swimming pool or hot tub as chlorine will discolor the silver.

The best way to keep your silver from tarnishing is to wear it. When not being worn, store your High Strung! Jewelry in the plastic bag provided at purchase.  Not very pretty but practical, the plastic bag will slow the oxidation process.

If your jewelry should tarnish, use a jewelry polishing cloth to clean your pieces. Most have been treated to strip away tarnish without damaging the beads. Do not dip your High Strung! Jewelry as this may damage the coatings on some beads.
